Thank you for your interest in joining our Volunteer Community!

Our amazing volunteers help keep all 175 acres of Norfolk Botanical Garden (NBG) beautiful and thriving. From mulching and weeding in the gardens to assisting our membership team, and helping our special events run smoothly – our volunteers truly contribute to every part of our organization and are an important part of our team. NBG volunteers give their time, passion, and skills to support the Garden’s beauty and success while also gaining new skills, connecting with others, and having fun along the way.

Now accepting new volunteer applications for general onboarding!
All new volunteers are required to submit a background check. Orientations will be taking place between May 16 and July 1.
