Homeschool Garden Stewards: Melon Science
Join us for our Homeschool Garden Stewards May series! Each week we will review topics relating to botany, water ecology, environmental science, and more to elevate your garden scientist to a garden steward. Recommended for Homeschoolers ages 9-14. All attending adults and children are required to have a registered ticket.
In this class, we will head to the WOW Raised Bed displays to investigate the anatomy and science of melons.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
All participating children must have a paid, pre-registered ticket to attend the program.
All attending adults must have a registered ticket.
Dressing for the weather and wearing comfortable walk shoes are encouraged.
Walk-up tickets the day of the class will not be available.
Program tickets include Garden admission.
Homeschool Garden Stewards is strictly recommended for students ages 9-14. Those with younger children will be directed to register for either the Homeschool Garden Science or the Little Sprout Explorers series.
Price for NBG Members: $15/Child. (Adult members may attend for free with a registered child).
Price for Not-yet Members: $23/Child and $20/Adult. (Tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults and includes daytime admission to NBG).
MEMBER EXCLUSIVE: Register for all FOUR (4) May classes for $52 ! Members receive approximately $2 off per series class. The series ticket links are listed below. Members only need to purchase the series ticket – tickets for the individual programs are not needed.
