DESCRIPTION:Running daily January 17th – March 22nd\, Norfolk Botanical Garden’s Third Annual Diversity Gallery\, in partnership with Norfolk’s Barry Art Museum\, showcases art from underrepresented communities in Hampton Roads. This community initiative was launched by NBG’s President’s Council on Inclusion and Diversity and is displayed in Baker Hall Visitor Center. \n Diversity Gallery Artist Reception:  \n February 28th 11am to 2pm in the Baker Hall Visitor Center and in the EDU hallway. Find all six Cherry Blossom Scavenger Hunt Trees labeled with the dark pink flower. Look under each of these trees and make note of the corresponding letter. Once you’ve completed the word\, stop by our Front Desk in Baker Hall Visitor Center to receive a prize while supplies last!  \nPhysical Scavenger Hunt maps are available at our Baker Hall Visitor Center. \n Please note: cherry blossom bloom season varies from year to year. Currently\, varieties of our cherry blossoms are predicted to be blooming through 04/05/26\, but this date is subject to change.

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT - Youth Education Program: Jr Master Gardeners
DESCRIPTION:Join NBG Youth Education staff for our new and improved Junior Master Gardener (JMG) program! JMG is an innovative 4-H gardening program for children and families. JMG engages children and their chaperones in “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that promote a love of gardening\, develop an appreciation for the environment\, and cultivate the mind. Recommended for children ages 3-6 with significant chaperone assistance.  All attending adults and children are required to have a registered ticket. \n REGISTRATION INFORMATION: \n All participating children must have a paid\, pre-registered ticket to attend the program. \n Adults must have a registered ticket\, including all free Member adult tickets. \n Dressing for the weather and wearing comfortable walking shoes are recommended. \n Tickets must be pre-registered. Walk-up tickets may not be available. \n Program tickets include Garden admission. \n Chaperones are responsible for behavior of their attending child. \n Price for NBG Members: $12/Child. (Adult members may attend for free with a registered child). \n Price for Not-yet Members: $20/Child and $20/Adult. (Tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults and includes daytime admission to NBG). \n All child class participants ages 3+ must have a registered ticket. Children ages 2 and under who are attending to participate in the class must have a registered (paid) ticket.
