SUMMARY:NatureKid To-Go Kit: Little Autumn Gardener - Sold Out!
DESCRIPTION:This program is sold out. Please check our Children & Family Programs page for other available to-go kits. \nStart your own autumn veggie and herb garden at home\, and then add some flare to your garden by painting a small\, wooden bird house! This kit includes beet\, carrot\, lettuce\, thyme\, and radish seeds in the garden starter kit! Recommended for ages 4+ with some caregiver participation. \nTo-Go Kits are scheduled to be picked up from the Garden\, and completed at home*. The listed dates and times for the program are the designated pick-up times for each kit.  If you need to schedule a Saturday morning pick-up\, please contact Youth Education staff at youthed@nbgs.org to arrange the change to the order.   \n *Each kit includes instructions on how to access additional materials on Google Classroom.\n NOTE ON FACE COVERINGS DURING KIT PICK-UP: \n In compliance with Virginia’s Governor’s Executive Order 63\, NBG commits to the following:  \n All guests and volunteers ages 10+ are required to wear a protective mask that covers the mouth and nose when entering any NBG building or structure including outdoor restrooms and the butterfly house (when opened). \n Our youngest visitors\,  “Sprouts” over the age of two\, are strongly encouraged to wear a mask in compliance with current CDC health and safety recommendations. \n Guests are asked to bring their own personal facemask. NBG has a very limited supply of disposal masks available upon request at the Guest Services desk in Baker Hall. \n Face coverings shall also be required when patrons are  outdoors  if a distance of six feet from other persons\, not associated with one household\, cannot be maintained. \n Price for NBG Members:  $10/kit \n Price for Not-yet Members: $15/kit*\n *NOT-YET MEMBER KITS DO NOT INCLUDE GARDEN ADMISSION.
